WE FOLLOW JESUS

We are a global network of local, national, and international men’s ministry leaders falling in behind Jesus to befriend, encourage and equip one another.

WE HAVE ROTATING LEADERSHIP

We are marshaled by a small, rotating council of stewards drawn from our broader membership and nominated and elected by our members. There is no “club within the club.”

WE ARE DECENTRALIZED & ANONYMOUS

We are decentralized, externally anonymous, and prioritize humility and generosity. We built Sons United — legally and structurally — to maintain these distinctives in perpetuity.

WE HAVE AN INVITATIONAL CULTURE

We’re an organically forming movement. Every member, from the first to the last, was or will be invited by another member in friendship and respect, following prayer and discernment.

WE ARE UNIFIED IN ESSENTIALS

We are unified around the Seven Traditions, Seven Beliefs and these Seven Principles but welcome leaders with diverse styles and approaches. We share best practices but don’t push anything.

WE HAVE NO HIDDEN AGENDA

We aren’t about any one brand, agenda, or approach. We are neither biased toward nor affiliated with any single organization, branch of Christianity, or political agenda.
